Argentine
Tango Workshops with Ney Melo & Jennifer Bratt
Ney
Melo and Jennifer are argentine tango teachers & performers currently
based in New York City. They
are part of the new generation of Argentine Tango Teachers, who
mixes "close-embrace" in traditional and nuevo tango.
Ney
Melo was trained in Buenos Aires under the Maestros: Roberto Herrera,
Chicho Frumboli, and Mingo Pugilese, developing depth in posture,
walk, elegance, musicality and structure of tango.
Ney
also teaches at New York University, Hunter College, and was recently
invited to teach at the Toronto
International Tango Festival in May 2005. Both Ney
& Jennifer have also been invited to teach at the upcoming
Portland
Valentango Festival in February 2005
They
have agreed to come to KL for the weekend, so we invite all of
you to participate and support. We, the Malaysian Tango community
have the opportunity to do a workshop on Sunday the 30th of
January.
